Smart dimming glass, also known as smart electrically controlled dimming glass, electrically controlled glass, magic glass, etc.
The technical category is: PDLC.
Its thickness ranges from 5.5mm to 40.5mm. (Applicable to any civil buildings and industrial high-rise buildings)
Light Transmittance Chapter:
Smart dimming glass: The light transmittance is about 82%. It is highly reliable and offers good privacy. It not only provides heat insulation but also protects your body from ultraviolet rays.
Ordinary flat glass: Light transmittance is over 80%. (2-millimeter-thick glass, excluding colored and coated ones)
To sum up, when choosing glass, among the two types of products, we should select smart glass with both good thickness and light transmittance. Similarly, smart glass not only has these advantages but also, due to the addition of technological elements, better understands what you want.
